What Are Electronic Prescriptions?

Electronic Prescriptions are currently available as ‘tokens’ and are a convenient alternative to paper prescriptions.

The ‘token’ refers to a QR code that will be given to you by your Doctor, either via email, SMS or printed on paper.

You can take your 'token' to your local Better Value Pharmacy for dispensing, or send it to Better Value Pharmacy Online following the steps below.

If you have a paper (non-electronic) prescription and you wish to use our online service, please post your prescription to:

If your doctor has emailed you an electronic prescription:

For delivery by mail from our online pharmacy

If you wish to order from Better Value Pharmacy Online, place your order online, then forward us your electronic prescription using the instructions below:

STEP 1: Order your medication online.

STEP 2: Forward your electronic prescription to prescriptions@bettervaluepharmacy.com.au
and include your order number.

For pick up in-store

All you need to do is take your token to Better Value Pharmacy for dispensing.



If your doctor has sent you an electronic prescription via SMS:

For pick up in-store

STEP 3: Go in-store and start shopping.



If you received an electronic prescription from your Doctor printed on paper:

STEP 1: Complete your online order.

STEP 2: Take a clear photo of the entire printed electronic prescription.
Be sure to include the QR code and the characters that appear below the QR code.

STEP 3: Forward the photo in an email to prescriptions@bettervaluepharmacy.com.au and include your order number.

OR

Post the printed QR code to:
